Betrayal

Just a story I had in mind for a while now. Not fully fleshed out or detailed, mostly an outline-plot.

• Protagonist - Prot
• Wife - Prot's Wife
• Jack - The other guy

STORY

Jack is following a woman, who is a friend of Prot's wife.

Prot and his wife accompany the woman to her hostel. Jack follows them into the hotel, and he's told he can't stay.

Jack questions how Prot can stay, and he is told that since Prot's wife is accompanying her friend, implicitly Prot is company as well.

Jack sneaks in to the hotel nevertheless. Then Jack goes and complains to the warden about Prot's presence, and the warden asks the wife who her husband is. 

The wife remains quiet. She is unsure who she wants to defend.

Who is Jack's love interest? Is it the woman from the hostel, or Prot's wife?
